We’re part of the Operation Encompass initiative, which is a police and education early information safeguarding partnership. The initiative enables schools to offer immediate support to children experiencing domestic abuse.

If there’s a police-attended domestic abuse incident related to one of our students, Operation Encompass ensures our Designated Safeguarding Lead is notified before the next working school day begins. This information-sharing allows us to offer the appropriate level of support to the student, depending on their needs and wishes.
